Fabulous Ikea Mylonit Pastel Blue Frosted white Glass Post Modern Table nightstand Lamp/ floor lamp, this one is the larger version, designed by K. Leibel and K Andreasson for Ikea back in the 90's. This was purchased by family in Dubai in the 90's the electrics have been converted to Australian approved. It has its original sticker Hand Made down the bottom. Originally released in the late 1990s, this piece has become a highly sought-after holy grail for Y2K, mid-century modern, post modern and eclectic home ikea lovers. Crafted from gorgeous hand-blown cased glass, it features a striking sloped top that mimics a sleek, modern vase. The frosted glass transitions beautifully from a clean milk white at the base to a soothing pastel blue at the rim Ombre they call it. Because these were completely handmade by IKEA artisans back in the day, your piece carries its own unique shape and glass thickness—making it truly one-of-a-kind. When turned off, it stands as a sculptural art piece on your nightstand, desk, or side table. When switched on, the layered glass completely transforms, emitting a soft, diffuse, and moody ambient glow that instantly makes any room feel cozy and inviting. Please note overall the piece is solid, but there is a chip a hairline under 1 cm on the top, consistent unfortunately with age. Please see the matching Green One listed.
