Fabulous Original framed 1971 drawing with earth-toned ink wash entitled “Tiger”, by known Australian professional artist Jane Stapleford. Striking work, heavily decorated with intricate psychedelic patterns, capturing a powerful, fantasy-inspired aesthetic. Particularly desirable and rare artwork from the early phase of the artist’s career, predating her acclaimed 1973 exhibition pieces. Jane Stapleford is a recorded 20th-century Australian modernist wildlife and fantasy artist whose works are represented commercially by Day Gallery Blackheath. Her rare, early-1970s exhibition works are highly celebrated for their intricate, hand-rendered fusion of wildlife and dense, mesmerizing patterns. Presented in a vintage solid wood frame with custom double mount behind glass. Signed and dated by the artist.

Condition: Excellent professionally framed hasn't moved from frame, the teak wooden frame is good little vintage spot wear down the bottom lip, nothing serious a good wood stain will bring up perfectly. Original paper backing with a hanger.
